Does the C-Series have regenerative braking?

Yes, the C-Series has regenerative motor braking, through which electrical power from the motor is momentarily generated to slow down the vehicle. The production of electricity produces a torque in the opposite direction of the rear wheel’s rotation, which slows the vehicle without any wear on the mechanical brakes. 

The strength of the regenerative motor braking is customisable via the dash, and can provide a considerable amount of stopping power, used in a similar way to engine braking on an internal combustion motorcycle. However, we always recommend that our riders use regenerative braking in conjunction with their mechanical brakes to ensure a safer ride.
